This group was moved in early September 1999 to insightpractice@onelist.com.
With the union of onelist and egroups, InsightPractice came to have the new address of insightpractice@egroups.com.
And with the integration of egroups into yahoo, it is more recently
at insightpractice@yahoogroups.com.
To subscribe, visit the
Home Page of the insight practice group.
Or, alternatively, subscribe by sending an email from the address to be added should be sent to:
insightpractice-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
There is no need for a Subject title and no need for any text.
A return should come back immediately (if all goes well, within the minute that follows sending the message) announcing that that address was automatically added to the list. Done that way, this is a one-step procedure.
Once subscribed, the individual may go to www.yahoogroups.com, sign on, and have access to a listing of the groups joined, including an ability to change whether one receives individual email postings, or a digest form collecting these together, as well as the ability to unsubscribe at will.
Or, once subscribed, the subscriber may send another email to:
insightpractice-digest@yahoogroups.com.
Similarly, no need for Subject title or text for this email.
An immediate reply will state that your subscription was shifted to digest form. You must be subscribed to make this request for a change in how your email is handled.
To end your subscription, simply send an email from the address to be deleted from the list to:
insightpractice-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
A bit of history for those familiar with the earlier group, insight@world.std.com: As of September 1, 1999, the group insight@world.std.com became inactive.
At the same time postings and discussion began under the new name and address given above: InsightPractice@onelist.com. All who who were not automatically transferred from the insight@ group who would be interested are now invited to join this new locale for this group and its discussions.
To have more of a sense for this open mindfulness as applied to ongoing life contexts, --- before or in addition to the actual practice of the systematic cultivation of insight through mindfulness --- I can suggest your checking out some of the links given below, as well as those suggested in the discussion group's FAQ (which will perhaps actually be prepared one day, by one of us!).
Please come back soon and visit these linked pages, below, as I will updating and adding to them ongoingly.
