                    Petted                the cat purrs contentedly   
                    Pushed away
                    by firm hand 
                    by gruff voice        she turns away, then looks back
                                          turns around and walks off
                                                 to the next reality 
                                                             easily
                                          letting go of unwelcoming spaces.
